STEP TWO: So you have an idea .....
It has passed the
Regional classification
and it has been endorsed by your host municipality - now what?
The next step is to complete the:

(fillable PDF).
Once complete, the application should be
emailed
to the Grande Prairie Regional Recreation Committee for evaluation.
Please note that because of the GPRRC and municipal Council meeting frequency, the application to approval timeline could be 9-12+ months in total:
Stage 1
(approx 0-3 months)
: Administrative team reviews application
Stage 2
(approx 1 month)
: Coordinator conducts further research and evaluates application before circulating to GPRRC
Stage 3
(approx 1-3 months
): Applicant presents project at GPRRC quarterly meeting
Stage 4
(approx 3 months)
: Further evaluation of proposal including financial implications for each municipality
Stage 5
(ongoing)
: If approved, agreement and funding implemented, plus ongoing reporting, monitoring and recognition for GPRRC
